24 Hour Illustration challenge

Story

In support of Menigitis UK's 'Search 4 a Vaccine' campaign. In memory of Hannah Gwilliam who died of meningitis on 26th January 2012, aged 18. I have known Hannah nearly all my life. Whilst living in Hampton, our families were close friends, and remained so once the Gwilliams moved to Pembrokeshire. Many a happy holiday was spent in each others company, and memories of trips to Burton are always associated with good times. An aspiring artist, Hannah was completing her foundation diploma in art and design when she died. She had plans to continue these studies at university. I also have a passion for the arts and am currently finishing my BA degree in illustration in London. I thought it would be fitting to create a sponsored event that has a connection with both mine and Hannahs passion, and offers a great fundraising opportunity for this worthy cause. I plan to spend a 24 hour period creating a large scale illustration. The process will be photographed and later turned into a stop motion animation depicting the 24 hour period and consequent illustration in a time lapse. There are also plans to live stream the event but this will be confirmed. The event will be held on the 14th April 2012. Donations are great fully received. Thanks Ben Brockbank
